The appearance of the Villa Girardi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico wine is deep ruby red with garnet shades. This Amarone della Valpolicella Classico wine is intense and displays great finesse, with its aromas of ripe cherries and plums. This Italian red wine is warm, ripe on the nose, intense and of great refinement. On the palate it is full-bodied, complex and velvety, with the typical characteristics deriving from the dried grapes.

This Amarone Classico wine is produced exclusively from indigenous grape varieties, harvested in our own vineyards high in the hills of the Valpolicella Classica zone.

This 2018 Barolo wine is ideal with porcini fillet, with a potato and black truffle pie, with aged cheeses. As well as delightful sipped on its own. Best Served at 18-20˚C (64.4-68˚F).

The 2018 Pio Cesare Barolo is a wonderful wine. This 2018 Pio Cesare is a classic style Barolo. Excellent structure, harmony, elegance. Soft tannins and balanced fruit. Approachable, but with a very long ageing potential. Barolo is such a great wine which should not be described as a “basic” or “regular” Barolo, simply because it does not have any additional indication on the label.

Pio Cesare is a family owned vineyard in the Barolo DOCG. This 100% Nebbiolo wine is vinified in stainless steel vats and aged in oak barrels for 30 months. This is a classic Barolo that has an elegant structure, smooth tannins and fresh fruit flavors. Pio Cesare’s Barolo has a wonderful potential for aging.

This 2018 Pio Cesare Barolo DOCG wine is best paired with red meat dishes, game or seasonal truffle, and mature cheeses.

The 2019 Castello del Trebbio Chianti Superiore DOCG wine has a deep ruby red color. This Tuscan Sangiovese wine offers a significant graphite note, atop a dark but quite dry cherry base. This Castello del Trebbio Chianti wine has notes of black pepper and some vague, dried spice. Medium-bodied and well-balanced with velvety tannins.

The Castello Trebbio is the center of a 350-hectare, organic winemaking operation that includes this Chianti Superiore. Soft for Chianti.

This Montepulciano wine is mellow, flavorful and complex on the palate, with smooth, velvety tannins, outstanding freshness and balance. This 2020 Farnese Montepulciano Casale Vecchio is an elegant wine.

This Farnese Fantini Casale Vecchio Montepulciano wine is made from 100% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes, the vineyards are located within the townships of Colonnella, Ancorano and Controguerra.

This 2020 Farnese Fantini Casale Vecchio Montepulciano wine deal pairings are robust first courses, cold cuts and salami, particularly the excellent varieties to be found in the Abruzzo region, as well as roasts and stews.

The 2021 Astoria Alisia Pinot Grigio wine has a straw yellow with golden shades color. A true Pinot Grigio wine with a fresh yet soft on the palate. This Alisia Pinot Grigio wine has a hay and nutty notes alongside delicate peppery spice with delicious pear fruit and a perfect level of acidity to refresh the palate. An exceptional Pinot Grigio wine to please most palates.

Astoria have made an exceptional Pinot Grigio with this Alisia that is a long way from the bland examples found all too often nowadays. Cold fermentation preserves all of the gentle but ripe fruit that is so distinctive of this grape variety.

The 2021 Astoria Caranto Pinot Noir wine has an attractive, bright bouquet that is really open and packed with strawberry and raspberry aromas. On the palate, this Astoria Caranto Pinot Noir has plenty of crunchy red fruit, a touch of earthy spice, a light. This Italian wine has an elegant structure, and a fresh fruity finish.

Astoria Vini is a family owned company with 4th generation family member Giorgio Polegato overseeing all winemaking for the winery. The Polegato family estate consists of 50 hectares of planted vineyards making them the largest private winemaker in the Prosecco D.O.C.G. area.

The Batasiolo Barbera Sabri wine has a clear and transparent garnet red wine. This Barbera Sabri wine is pleasantly fruity scents with light wood and vegetable nuances. The palate is dry, full, with remarkable texture and freshness, in line with tradition. This Barbera Sabri wine is intense and long-lasting. This Batasiolo red wine opens with aromas of scorched earth, leafy underbrush, mature blackberry and a whiff of espresso. The straight forward palate offers ripe black cherry, toast, anise and a hint of mint alongside fine-grained tannins.

This 2021 Beni di Batasiolo Barbera Sabri wine is the pleasant accompaniment for appetizers, pasta and risotto, white and red meat main courses and aged cheese. Its high acidity expresses its better paired with particularly rich and flavor some dishes.

The 2021 Poggio Scalette Chianti Classico wine has a bright ruby red in color, a lively bouquet of red fruits and blackberries complement undertones of ripe cherries and pomegranate seeds. On the palate, the wine is fresh and fruit-forward with silky tannins that evolve throughout the finish. This Poggio Scalette Chianti Classico which is the maximum expression of its territory and of the grape varieties which compose its blend: first and foremost the Sangiovese of Ruffoli, the magic Chianti Classico hillside in Greve in Chianti.

This is a wine that expresses both the Chianti Classico terroir as well as the Sangiovese grape. The grapes for this wine are sourced from vineyards in the village of Ruffoli, located in Greve.

One of the biggest names in Italian wines, we were blown away by our recent tasting of the Poggio Scalette Chianti Classico. This famed Tuscan estate is known worldwide for their cultivation of 90 year old Sangiovese di Lamole in the Chianti Classico area of Greve.

This 2021 Poggio Scalette Chianti Classico wine can be paired with a number of dishes including rosemary roasted lamb, tomato based sauces, and hearty chicken stews.

The 2021 Terre di Valter Greco di Tufo wine has bright straw yellow color. This Terre di Valter Greco di Tufo is a refreshing, crisp wine that is known for its aromatic notes of lemons, pears, apple and toasted almonds and a lingering mineral finish. Floral and lemony with underlying pear and stone aromas, displaying gorgeous, succulent minerality in the mouth that gives backbone to the juicy yet composed apple, pear, lemon and floral notes.

Greco di Tufo is a DOCG of the Campania wine region in southern Italy. It is responsible for what is arguably the region’s most prestigious white wine, made predominantly from the grape variety that shares its name. The name Tufo refers not only to one of the villages from which the wine comes, but also the type of rock on which the village was built.

Food Pairing: Seafood, grilled fish, poultry, cold dishes and also as an aperitif.

The 2021 Terre Di Valter Irpinia Aglianico wine has distinctive nuances of white pepper, black cherry and smoke shape their individual texture. Heavy body and outstanding acidity result in the red wine, which, with dominant tannins in the mouth, shows a great deal of character and class. This Terre Di Valter Irpinia Aglianico has great structure and softness.

Food Pairing: Beef, Pasta and Lamb.
