The Chateau Los Boldos Cabernet Sauvignon wine are aged in French oak barrels for 6 months. They are young, fruity, of intense colors and with soft tannins. They faithfully reflect the most emblematic varieties grown in Cachapoal Andes, and are perfect for informal and relaxed occasions. Château Los Boldos occupies a 250ha site in one of Chile’s finest viticultural areas.

The Château Los Boldos covers 250 hectares and is situated to the south of Santiago, in Chile. The vineyard is planted at the feet of the Andes, next to the village of Requinoa. The region benefits from a microclimate, which balances the differences between the daytime and nighttime temperatures. This microclimate allows a slow, long and complete ripening of the grapes. The vineyard was established in 1850 and is one of the oldest in Chili, and is planted primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon vines from France. The wines from the Château Los Boldos are produced exclusively using grapes grown on the oldest areas of the vineyard, from vines planted between 1936 and 1975.

The 2019 Chateau Los Boldos Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Reserve wine has aromas of fruits such as cherries, plums, black currants, and a touch of leather and smoke. The Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Reserve wine is well balanced, of medium body, with round tannins and a persistent ending.

The 2020 Montes Alpha Carmenere wine has a deep and live ruby red color. The wine has a very elegant and evident Carmenere tipicity, showing lovely black pepper aromas with hints of red berries, chocolate, a bit of vanilla and black plums. In the mouth is distinctively smooth, with rounded and soft tannis. Long finis. This Montes Alpha Carmenere wine is beautifully integrated and balanced.

The Montes Alpha M 2018 has a perfumed and complex with outstanding aromas of ripe red and black fruits over subtle notes of crème de cassis, tobacco, and leather. Spice aromas of red and black pepper mingle with cinnamon and dark chocolate notes. In palate is smooth but structured, with silky tannins. The Montes Alpha M 2016 wine is aged for 18 month in new french barrels.

In the palate, the wine stands out for its well-balanced acidity, medium body, and incredibly smooth tannins. This Montes Cabernet Sauvignon Classic Series wine has moderately persistent finish echoes the notes perceived on the nose.

The 2020 Montes Folly Syrah wine has an intense ruby red color. On the nose the wine is very elegant with lively black ripe fruit, hints of dark chocolate and a subtle toastiness. On the mouth, the wine is robust, concentrated, velvety and dense. This Montes Folly Syrah wine has tobacco and vanilla notes arrive on the finish.

The 2021 Montes Limited Selection Cabernet Sauvignon Carmenere wine has a beautiful deep ruby red color. Butterscotch and a subtle spiciness makes it appealing. Well integrated vanilla flavors from oak aging adds complexity and elegance. This Montes has a medium to full bodied wine, yet soft and friendly in the palate. Sweet and firm tannis.
