The 2014 Chateau Canon wine has a very well defined and has a precise bouquet with ebullient raspberry and wild strawberry scents infused with minerals. This St-Emilion wine has aromatics which are utterly captivating. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin and very well-judged acidity. There is tension and poise to this Saint Emilion wine, gently fanning out with a delicate spicy finish that lingers long in the mouth.

Though surely destined to be over-shadowed by the extraordinary 2015, this Canon wine deserves a berth in your cellar. This 2014 Chateau Canon is outstanding for the vintage, a sublime wine that might dare rank alongside the 2009 and 2010.

The 2014 Chateau Canon wine is a blend of 72% Merlot and 28% Cabernet Franc, the estate moving towards the latter in terms of its new plantings, which will possibly see 40% in 15 or 20 years time. It was picked from 22 September until 6 October for the Merlot and three days later for the Cabernet Franc, matured in around 80% new oak. Drink date 2020 – 2050.

The 2014 Chateau Dame de Trotte Vieille wine offers an intense, deep and almost purple color. The nose expresses large and generous aromas of black fruits. This Saint-Emilion wine has vivacity, a dense tannic structure and a fine and meticulous grain. Produced then from mainly the young vines (total of 12 ha of vines), this second wine is elaborated with the same care as for a “Grand Vin”. The 2014 Chateau L’Angelus Grand Cru reveals a very pure and elegant wine. This Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classe A, carries a precise attack and a powerful, structured palate with a lovely balance between tannins and freshness. The Cabernet Franc which represents 50% of the blend with Merlot refines the tannic structure, brings elegance.

The Cabernet adds the complexity of 2014 Angelus, leading to a persistent finish. This L’Angelus wine has craftsmanship and terroir-expression here and it should drink well for two decades. The Chateau L’Angelus Grand Cru 2014 is a real head-turner!

Chateau Angelus has one of the longest histories in the St. Emilion appellation. The de Bouard family has an even longer history in the region. In fact, the de Bouard family has been in Bordeaux since 1544, according to family archives. In 1626 the de Bouard family began buying land in the Dordogne where they eventually settled. Chateau Angelus has been considered one of the top estates in the entire Right Bank.

The 2014 Chateau Petit-Figeac is laced with the essence of sweet dark cherry, plum, tobacco, mint, licorice and leather. Pliant, supple and expressive, it is a highly appealing second wine. The second wine of Chateau Figeac is a worthy reflection of its older sibling. Hailing from the exceptional terroir of Chateau Figeac, Saint-Émilion Premier Grand Cru Classé, Petit-Figeac is produced by the same teams, under the direction of Frédéric Faye.

The 2014 Chateau Pibran wine is soft, pleasant and quite pretty. Sweet tobacco, earthy notes, smoke, iron and cedar add attractive savory underpinnings. Very floral and vivid on the nose with lovely ripe Cabernet character that showcases currants and berries. Full body, tight and silky tannins and a juicy finish. This Pauillac wine has balance and beauty.

This 2014 Chateau Pibran is a bit unusual in that the blend is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot rather than the more typical 50/50.

The Chateau Tanunda Three Graces wine is a classic Bordeaux style blend of the worlds three most noble varieties. This Chateau Tanunda Three Graces is a classic lifted nose of blackcurrant cassis and cedar wood with hints of black olive, pepper, violets and tobacco.

The palate is an integrated blend of flavours, svelte and seamless showing prominent blackcurrant fruit delicately interwoven with tobacco leaf, capsicum, black pepper and savoury French oak giving the wine an undeniable elegance and generous length.

The grapes for the Three Graces are selected from premium vineyards in the Barossa and Eden Valleys. Delivered in small bins the grapes are destemmed and fermented in small format stainless steel open fermenters.The must is hand plunged twice daily, with fermetation complete over of 7 days on skins at 22 – 28° C.

Our 2014 Foppiano Lot 96 Petite Syrah exhibits aromatics of blackberry jam, nutmeg and cinnamon. Wild raspberry dominates the palate and finishes with brambly, integrated oak. This Syrah wine will be thoroughly enjoyed casually during a cocktail hour or with a fine meal.

Foppiano Vineyards has been growing grapes in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley since 1896, and Lot 96 was crafted to celebrate this long-term legacy. The specific vineyards chosen for this blend produced flavorful wines of Petit Sirah, Zinfandel, Barbara and Mouvedre. To craft the 2014 Petite Sirah, we sourced fruit from our Estate as well as select vineyards throughout the finest growing regions in California.

Our 2014 Foppiano Pinot Noir shows a depth of color, aroma and flavor to rival the best producers in the Russian River Valley. This Pinot Noir wine has a beautiful garnet color leads to aromas of red currant, earl grey, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cherry cedar. The flavors seamlessly match the aromatics. This wine effortlessly represents the varietal and our estate’s legacy with its lovely aromatics and wonderfully layered complexity.

Every step in crafting our Pinot Noir is done with careful consideration. The grapes are harvested at night to fully capture their elegant fruit flavors and hand sorted to insure only the finest fruit goes into the fermenter. We use a gentle method of whole berry and whole cluster fermentation to maximize fruit aromatics and complexity. The wine is fermented in open top fermenters and punched down by hand. After gentle pressing, the wine is aged in only the best French oak barrels.

The Herdade Do Sobroso Reserva Tinto 2014 presents a full-bodied wine with deep red colour. It’s complex aroma presents traces of mature red berries, jam and chocolate offering an intense and prolonged aftertaste.

Herdade do Sobroso is located in Vidigueira in the Alentejo region. This is one of the oldest wine regions in Portugal. In the beautiful Alentejo, Herdade do Sobroso has a perfect location with its vineyards located on the banks of the Guadiana River and the Rio dos Patos river or the river of ducks.

The trademark is therefore the ducks on the labels. It is the perfect setting for the ripening of the grapes and few vineyards have this luxury and this partly explains why this winery can make very beautiful wines because there is never water debt. In addition to the fact that there is sufficient water, this region is the only one within the Alentejo that has an ocean influence that ensures a healthy ripening. This beautiful Herdade do Sobroso Reserva is a blend of the Alicante Boushet & Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Herdade Do Sobroso Tinto Cellar Selection 2014 is a full-bodied wine with a rich colour. Its fine aroma suggests very mature red fruits, cocoa and jam. The aftertaste is prolonged and elegant. In the mouth this red wine is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins.

The Cellar Selection Tinto of Winery Herdade do Sobroso is a red wine from the region of Alentejo of Alentejano.

The Les Tourelles de Longueville Pauillac 2014, was made by Pichon Longueville Baron, one of Bordeaux’s most renowned estates, Les Tourelles de Longueville is the estate’s second wine, typically made of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with small percentages of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

The second wine Tourelles de longueville is named after the turrets that embellish the Château. This 2014 Les Tourelles de Longueville wine has charming aromas of spiced red and black currants, with hints of cedar. Well textured with velvety tannins and a long finish.
