The 2020 Nid d’Amour Oeil de Perdrix rose wine by Cave Valcombe is cultivated with respect for nature and is produced on quite gravelly soils. The Oeil de Perdrix Rose wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir, either by direct pressing or by being “bled” directly from the vat of Pinot Noir after being macerated cold for 12 hours. The Cave Valcombe SA vines are located in Saillon in the canton of Valais. Due to the surrounding mountains, it is particularly dry and warm in the Valais valleys.
The 2020 Nid d’Amour Oeil de Perdrix rose wine by Cave Valcombe has a salmon-colored rose wine is made from Pinot Noir. This Oeil de Perdrix has aromas of apple, rose and vanilla. On the palate it is smooth and balanced with flavors of strawberry, raspberry and rose petal. This Oeil de Perdrix rose wine has a creamy finish.
This Oeil de Perdrix rose wine is excellently suited for veal and light summer dishes and Thai dishes.
