The 2016 Vasse Felix Tom Cullity Cabernet Sauvignon Malbec wine opens beautifully with cherry pip, cassis, christmas cake, orange rind, pot pourri and hints of Australian forest floor. The palate is incredibly luscious, rich fruit builds into a long, fine, powdery tannin structure. Refreshing floral notes are expressed throughout the palate with lingering blackcurrant and blackberry. The Villa Girardi is a typical Venetian Villa designed by Luigi Trezza back in the 1700s.
